What a year it has been! We have had so many changes and we’re excited to announce more upcoming changes. To several of our interns have graduated and we have started several more. In March of this year Catherine Island-Thomas joined our team as an intern, and we are so excited to have her with us. In June, Taylor Leigh and Elizabeth Rhodes graduated from their MSW programs. Elizabeth joined us as full-time staff, and we couldn’t be happier! Regina Tetreault transitioned into her photography business full-time. We are so excited for her and know great things are in store. 

Over the summer both Lisa Falvey and Jamie Snell graduated their respective masters programs, and also joined our team as staff. Go Community First! We have an amazing line up if staff! 

Also over the summer, Monica Munezero and Stephanie Chapman completed their internships, and we are sad to see them go! Monica is joining her family overseas post graduation and Stephanie has one more semester and anticipates graduating in December of this year. We wish them both the best, and hope they can join us again in the future. And last but not least, Annette Santiago transitioned out of the practice. She has been with us for two years, and has been a tremendous asset to our team. We wish her the best as she starts her own practice.

Fortunately, in the fall we have several new interns joining our team. Danshanique Adkins, Erin Knowles, Sam Yu, and Mereena Zachariah will be joining our team as MSW interns. They all have active profiles under our team page at this time and you can view more information about them. You can also view information about our hired staff. 

Summary: Currently our hired staff consist of Lisa Falvey, Elizabeth Rhodes, Jamie Snell, and Emily Borsody. Our interns are Catherine Island-Thomas, Danshanique Adkins, Erin Knowles, Sam Yu, and Mereena Zachariah.

We have had so many changes this year alone, and wait for it, all good!

We started several new interns, Lisa Falvey, Stephanie Chapman, Jamie Snell, Taylor Leigh, and Monika Munezero.

We also saw Emily Borsody graduate from an intern and she is now a part time clinician. We also hired another part time clinician, Regina Tetreault. 

We are still complete virtual and able to meet the needs of our community in the safest way that we know how!

For many of us 2020 and 2021 has looked and felt different than any year prior. We wanted to take time to say we are all in this together and here's to 2021 being the catalyst of turning things around!

We also wanted to give you a quick update of all of the amazing changes happening here as we usher in this new year! For starters, our Massachusetts office is moving Feb 1st to a new location! While this wont affect services right now as we are still fully remote for everyone's safety, once we re-open the physical office space we will be able to accommodate more people within the office! This means shorter waits (which we already have), and the ability to social distance within the office. There is also ample FREE and unlimited parking. We will be accessible by bus as there is a bus stop right outside the door. If you find yourself hungry or in need of a pick me up, there is Samel's Deli on the lower level. We can't wait to open our doors and for you to see all that's changing here at CFTC!

Our new address will be 75 South Church St, Ste 600, Pittsfield, MA 01201. That's right... the Clock Tower (aka the Berkshire Eagle building).

Now on to more exciting news. Wait for it because it's huge--we are doubling our team in the Massachusetts office! In November of last year, we added a new MSW intern, Emily Borsody, and this month we will add a second MSW intern, Corinne Shaw. They both come with a wealth of knowledge and experience which allows us to provide more cost effective services to those who have insurances we do not accept or to those who are underinsured.
